The Organising Committee of the South African Conference for Intelligence Research 2024 (SACAIR2024) invites the submission of extended abstracts and posters to its unconference.

This event will be held on the 2nd of December and will precede the main conference being held from 4-6 December. The unconference is an event focused on students and provides a supportive and engaging space for emerging researchers from academia and industry to present their work and network with established researchers and industry representatives.

This year’s instalment is organised by the University of the Free State and will be hosted at the Department of Engineering Sciences, UFS, South Africa. The conference theme is ‘Artificial Intelligence for Societal Impact’. Submissions which embrace this theme and fall within the tracks specified below are welcome. A major goal of the conference is to grow the community of AI researchers in Southern Africa, and strengthen the existing networks by making new connections. Therefore, if you’re a passionate novice in the field, we especially encourage your submission and participation in the conference.
