Opening of the 2026 Student Governance Awards (9 – 13 September 2026)
The Student Governance Office BFN announces the opening of applications for the 2026 Student Governance Awards from 9 to 13 September 2026. These awards recognise exceptional leadership, service, and impact within the student community.
Applications are invited for the following categories:

I/CSRC Leadership Award – Recognises a student leader who has demonstrated exceptional service, vision, and commitment to advancing the SRC mandate. Demonstrating outstanding leadership qualities and a commitment to the student body.

Association/Organisation of the Year – Recognises a student association or organisation that has achieved excellence in service, advocacy, and community engagement. Making a positive impact on campus life.

Best Faculty Student Council Award – Recognises the Faculty Council that has excelled in representing the academic and social interests of students.

Best Supporting Structure Award – Recognises a structure or committee that has provided outstanding support to student governance. Contributing to the effective functioning and success of student-led activities and programmes.
Applications must include the completed award application, all required reports as attachments, and a portfolio of evidence demonstrating the achievements and contributions relevant to the category entered.
