Join us in conversation with Michael Stack (UFS) for a discussion around AI and the scientific and ethical questions it raises in today's world.

Biography: 

Michael Stack is a lecturer from the department of socials sciences and commerce education presents modules in Social Sciences and History didactics in the Education Faculty of the UFS. His main research interests include Game-Based Learning, ICT integration in Education and AI in Education. He also coaches an e-sports Valorant team at the UFS, called Kovsie Vanguard. He serves on the executive committee for the South African Society for History Teaching. He has recently submitted his PhD on ICT integration in history education. He has secondary research interests in military history, music education and special needs education despite the best efforts of his head of department. Given half the chance, he will be found reading either historical or science fiction, playing Total War or Battlefield 6, or whipping up a lasagna in the kitchen.
