Generative AI is reshaping how students write, create, and learn, making  “catch and punish” approaches to AI use in education unreliable. This public lecture introduces the AI Assessment Scale (AIAS), a five-level framework for clear, transparent AI use in assessment. Attendees will leave with practical ways to redesign tasks, set expectations, and protect integrity while building AI literacy.
