  • Participants will learn about:
  • Ethical Principles, and role of ethical principles in research
  • Key norms and standards in health research in SA (As Revised by the National Health Research Ethics Council)
  • Legislative framework and regulatory authority (Proposed Amendments 2016)
  • Health Research Ethics infrastructure in South Africa
  • Ethical obligations for the research community to promote social justice and community responsibility
