You are cordially invited to attend the annual Publication Fair hosted by the Research Committee of the Faculty of Theology and Religion.
This year’s Publication Fair explores the dynamic and profound intersections of theology and religion (through the lense of the Trinity), community, and contemporary life under the theme.
Join us for an enriching experience as we delve into how theological and religious understandings of the Trinity inform our sense of the common good, shaping communities and engagement in the contemporary and globalised world. Readings will be presented by three of our esteemed scholars, each offering unique insights into the theological, ethical, and social dimensions of key religious concepts within a diverse African context.
Additionally, the UFS offices of Research and Internationalisation will be invited to engage all scholars on possible collaboration opportunities, nationally and internationally, and on the most pressing research themes which needs to be addressed in interdisciplinary conversations between theology and religion, and other disciplines.
Publishers are also invited to showcase some of their publications and to educate scholars on how best to distribute their research and publications to the academic world.
We invite all attendees to participate actively in discussions, reflecting on how theology intersects with pressing social issues, and engage with our scholars in meaningful dialogue.
Bring your colleagues, grab a cup of coffee with us, and enjoy participating in lively discussions on theology, religion and the contemporary community. The fair will be hosted from 9:00 – 15:00, but participants and guests are
welcome to come and go as their schedule allows it. A programme will follow in due time.
