Description

The postgraduate school will be presenting a workshop on ‘Action research’. The presenter is Dr Juliet Ramohai from the school of Higher Education Studies.

The objectives of the workshop are:

  1. To introduce Masters and Doctoral students to Action Research as a methodology
  2. To explore different forms of Action research and their use in different contexts
  3. To employ case studies to orientate students to AR as a research methodology

 

Profile of the presenter:

Dr Juliet Ramohai is a senior lecturer and head of school of higher education Studies. Her research focuses mainly on higher education transformation, with a specific interest on access and success of black women academics in institutions of higher learning. Her other interest is on learners and inclusive education. Her experience involves supervising Masters and PhD students working on support teaching, inclusive education and higher education transformation.
