ORIENTATION SESSION

The postgraduate school invites new postgraduate students to participate in the postgraduate student orientation. The orientation programme has been designed to enable your transition  to postgraduate studies. At this orientation, you will learn about:

• UFS policy on masters and PhD studies
• Supervision agreement form
• Research ethics
• RIMS processes
• Research proposal guidelines
• Academic writing guidelines
• CV writing skills
• Research methodology
• Article writing process
• Support offered by the library to postgraduate students

It is very important to register for each session you are interested in attending. No attendance will be allowed without an RSVP. If you RSVP and fail to attend, you will be liable to pay R500. You can choose the sessions you are interested in from the list on the RSVP form.
